Target Information
GST (Glutathione S-transferase) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, catalyzing various reactions. It is widely used in the GST gene fusion system, allowing purification of GST-fusion proteins via their high affinity for glutathione. These fusion proteins serve as valuable tools for studying protein–protein interactions and have been incorporated into numerous expression vectors.
