GSK3B (Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta)
GSK3B is a proline-directed serine/threonine protein kinase involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. It acts as a negative regulator of glucose homeostasis and participates in pathways related to energy metabolism, inflammation, ER-stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis.
GSK3B is a key component of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, mediating β-catenin degradation and inhibiting Wnt signaling. It also functions in the Hedgehog, Notch, and insulin signaling pathways.
