Target Information

BRD7 acts both as coactivator and as corepressor. It activates the Wnt signaling pathway in a DVL1-dependent manner by negatively regulating GSK3B activity. It is required for TP53-mediated cell-cycle arrest in response to oncogene activation. BRD7 promotes acetylation of TP53 at Lys-382, facilitating TP53 recruitment to target promoters and inhibiting cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase.
