Target Information
Arginyl-tRNA synthetase (ArgRS, also known as RARS or DALRD1) is a class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase responsible for catalyzing the aminoacylation of tRNA by arginine. It localizes to the cytoplasm and can exist as a monomer or in multisubunit complexes with other synthetases. Two cytoplasmic forms of ArgRS are found in mammals, differing by a 73 amino acid sequence required for complex assembly.
