  • Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
    Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Bat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Horse, Rabbit (100%); Opossum (88%).
  • For IHC(P): Use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

Target Information

Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) catalyze hydrolysis of cyclic nucleotides cAMP and cGMP to the corresponding nucleoside 5'-monophosphates. Mammalian PDEs are classified into several families based on biochemical properties. Members of the PDE1 family, such as PDE1C, are calmodulin-dependent PDEs (CaM-PDEs) stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex (Repaske et al., 1992).
