Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody A1exF5 recognizes both human and mouse Arginase 1, a cytosolic enzyme (Arg1).
Compatible with standard intracellular staining protocols and the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set.
Applications Reported: Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on normal human peripheral blood cells using Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product # 88-8824-00). Recommended ≤ 1.0 µg per test (100 µL final volume).
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 805 (BUV805):
- Tandem dye emitting at 797 nm

Fixation Compatibility:
- Stable up to 3 days at 4°C in IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution

Target Information
Arginase-1 (Arg1) is a 35 kDa enzyme converting L-arginine to urea and L-ornithine, the final step in the urea cycle.
It regulates nitric oxide production by depriving NO synthase of arginine substrate.
Expressed in liver, neutrophils, myeloid-derived suppressor cells, and neural stem cells.
In mice, Arginase 1 marks alternatively activated macrophages (M2a).
Defects cause argininemia, an autosomal recessive disorder with hyperammonemia.
