Chondroitinase ABC digestion of the target sample is required for antibody activity. Papain or pronase digestion of the target significantly reduces antibody activity.
Mouse anti Human chondroitin-6-sulphate antibody, clone MK-302 recognizes chondroitin-6-sulphate, recognizing the chondroitin-6-sulphate stubs of all high density cartilage proteoglycans across all species tested.
Target Information
Chondroitin 6-sulfate (C6S), a glycosaminoglycan (GAG), is distributed mainly in the growth plates, aorta, and cornea; however, the physiological function of C6S is not fully understood.
