- This antibody does not react with rabbit.
- Mouse anti-Human CD142 antibody, clone TF9-10H10 recognizes human CD142 (Tissue Factor), the membrane receptor for coagulation factors VII and VIIa.
- It acts as the cell surface initiator of the coagulation cascade.
Target Information
This gene encodes coagulation factor III, a cell surface glycoprotein that enables cells to initiate blood coagulation cascades. It functions as the high-affinity receptor for coagulation factor VII, forming a complex that catalyzes the initiation of protease cascades through limited proteolysis.
Unlike other cofactors that circulate as inactive precursors, this factor is fully functional when expressed on cell surfaces. It contains three domains: extracellular, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic.
No congenital deficiency of this protein has been described.
