Target Information
SAGA (Spt-Ada-Gen5 histone acetyltransferase complex)는 Gcn5p를 촉매 서브유닛으로 하는 히스톤 아세틸화 효소 복합체로, 기본 전사 인자 TFIID와 기능적으로 중첩됩니다. SAGA와 TFIID는 서로 다른 유전자 그룹(하우스키핑 및 스트레스 반응 유전자)의 전사 조절에 관여합니다. SAGA는 Ada 단백질군(5종), TBP 관련 단백질군(4종), TAF 단백질군(5종), 기타 단백질군(6종 이상)으로 구성된 대형 복합체입니다. Gcn5p는 히스톤 아세틸화 활성을 가지며, budding yeast의 경우 439개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있습니다.
