Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a key regulator of blood vessel development in embryos and angiogenesis in adult tissues.
Unlike VEGF, the related VEGFC stimulates lymphatic vessel growth through its specific lymphatic endothelial receptor VEGFR-3.
Inactivation of the VEGFR-3 gene in mice leads to defective blood vessel development, abnormal vessel organization, and cardiovascular failure during embryogenesis.
VEGFR-3 plays an essential role in embryonic cardiovascular system development prior to lymphatic vessel formation.
