Target Information
The late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor MAPK and MTOR activator 2 (LAMTOR2) protein belongs to the LAMTOR family. Together with LAMTOR3, MAPK1, and ERK kinase 1 (MEK1), it localizes to late endosomes where it is required for efficient activation of ERK signaling. This complex regulates late endosomal trafficking, cellular proliferation, and contributes to host defense against Salmonella infection.
