Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The isoprene biosynthetic pathway provides cells with cholesterol, ubiquinone, and various nonsterol metabolites. Farnesylpyrophosphate synthetase catalyzes the formation of geranyl and farnesylpyrophosphate from isopentenylpyrophosphate and dimethylallyl pyrophosphate.
Studies of FDPS activity and protein in rat liver, accompanied by immunofluorescence and immunoelectron microscopy, show that FDPS is predominantly localized in peroxisomes. Liver tissue from patients with peroxisomal deficiency diseases such as Zellweger syndrome and neonatal adrenoleukodystrophy exhibit diminished FDPS activity and subsequent isoprenoid synthesis.
