NFATC1은 활성화된 T 세포의 DNA 결합 전사 복합체 구성 요소입니다. 이 복합체는 T 세포 수용체(TCR) 자극 시 세포질에서 핵으로 이동하는 구성 요소와 유도성 핵 구성 요소로 이루어져 있습니다. NFATC1 단백질은 면역 반응 중 유도성 유전자 전사에 중요한 역할을 하며, 사이클로스포린 A와 같은 면역억제제의 주요 표적입니다. 5개의 전사 변이체가 확인되어 있으며, 각각 다른 사이토카인 유전자 발현을 조절할 수 있습니다.
