Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates various cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
This gene is preferentially expressed in hematopoietic cells and acts as an early response gene in lymphokine-stimulated cells.
The noncatalytic N-terminus interacts with MAP kinases and suppresses their activity, playing a role in T cell antigen receptor signaling through dephosphorylation of MAP kinase pathway-related molecules.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
