Target Information
Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B is an enzyme encoded by the NME2 gene in humans. Nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDK) exists as a hexamer composed of isoforms A (encoded by NME1) and B (encoded by NME2). Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified. Co-transcription of NME1 and NME2 generates naturally occurring fusion transcripts (NME1-NME2) that encode a protein combining sequences from both genes.
