Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human Semaphorin 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4G, 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, or 7A is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Target Information
Semaphorins are neuronal chemorepellants that guide neuronal development.
CD100 (Semaphorin 4D) is a 150 kDa homodimer that induces B cell aggregation and enhances viability in vitro.
It modulates CD40–CD40L signaling by promoting B cell aggregation and survival while downregulating CD23 expression.
CD72 serves as a receptor for CD100, regulating B cell signaling.
CD100 is expressed on resting and PHA-stimulated T cells, weakly on NK cells, EBV-transformed B cells, monocytes, and tumor/peripheral blood T cell lines, and more strongly on activated T and B cells.
