Target Information
MDFI는 다른 myogenic family 단백질을 음성 조절하는 전사 인자로, 핵 내 위치 신호를 마스킹하여 DNA 결합을 방해합니다. Mouse homolog인 I-mf 연구 결과, Myod family 단백질의 DNA 결합 활성을 억제하며, trophoblast 및 연골세포 분화에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Knockout mouse 연구에서는 척추와 늑골 형성 이상이 보고되었습니다.
