Target Information
TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. It is a type I membrane protein that transduces intracellular calcium signals and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations in its gene cause gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder leading to severe corneal amyloidosis and blindness.
