SERPINB4 (also known as squamous cell carcinoma antigen 2, SCCA-2, or leupin) directly inhibits human granzyme proteolytic activity. Overexpression of SERPINB4 in HeLa cells inhibits recombinant granzyme-induced and NK cell-mediated cell death.
