Product Specific Information
MA1-826 detects C/EBP beta protein in human, mouse, and rat samples, and specifically recognizes the LAP* isoform of C/EBP beta.
This antibody has been validated for use in Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation assays.
In Western blot analysis, MA1-826 detects a 37 kDa LAP* protein (N-terminal fragment) in transfected 293T cells.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues M(1)–H(21) of mouse C/EBP beta (Cat. # PEP-243), available for neutralization and control experiments.
Target Information
C/EBP beta belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors, characterized by a distinct DNA-binding forkhead domain.
Its specific function is not fully determined but may play a role in mesenchymal tissue development.
