Product Specific Information
Recombinant antibodies are produced using specific genes that code for the desired antibodies. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include better specificity and superior lot-to-lot consistency.
Minimal cross-reactivity with mouse, rat, human, bovine, guinea pig, and donkey IgG is observed.
Alexa Fluor Plus secondary antibodies offer brighter signals and improved signal-to-noise ratios compared to conventional Alexa Fluor conjugates. They utilize proprietary dye chemistry for enhanced fluorescent performance, enabling clearer imaging and better detection of low-abundance targets.
Usage Note:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to avoid aggregates that may cause nonspecific background staining. Optimal antibody dilution should be determined empirically for each application.
Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are used in detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit IgG and enable multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). These antibodies provide signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host with pooled rabbit immunoglobulins and further purified or modified for high specificity and performance.
