Recombinant antibodies are produced using specific genes that code for the desired antibodies. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include better specificity and superior lot-to-lot consistency.

Minimal cross-reactivity with rabbit, rat, human, bovine, guinea pig, and donkey IgG is observed.

These antibodies use proprietary dye chemistry to generate stunning fluorescent images.

Usage Tip:
Centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly before use and add only the supernatant to your experiment. This helps remove protein aggregates and reduces nonspecific background staining. Optimal dilution should be determined empirically.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their targets. Secondary antibodies increase versatility by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification.

Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
