For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments with carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Beta-catenin is an adherens junction (AJ) protein involved in cell-cell adhesion and epithelial layer maintenance.
It interacts with E-cadherin and alpha-catenin, linking the adhesion complex to the actin cytoskeleton.
Beta-catenin also associates with signaling pathways including Wnt/Wingless, tyrosine kinases, and phosphatases, playing roles in morphogenesis and tumorigenesis.
It is expressed in various hair follicle cells and implicated in diseases such as pilomatrixoma, medulloblastoma, colorectal, ovarian, and other solid tumors.
In the nucleus, beta-catenin co-activates Lef/Tcf transcription factors, promoting expression of cyclin D and c-myc, which drive cell proliferation.
