Target Information
Iduronate-2-sulfatase는 리소좀 내에서 헤파란 황산과 더마탄 황산의 분해에 필요합니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 효소 결핍을 유발하여 헌터 증후군(Mucopolysaccharidosis Type II)으로 알려진 X-연관 질환을 초래합니다. Iduronate-2-sulfatase는 인간 arylsulfatases A, B, C 및 glucosamine-6-sulfatase와 높은 서열 유사성을 가지며, 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
