Insulin은 췌장의 β세포에서 생성되는 단백질로, α-chain(21개 아미노산)과 β-chain(30개 아미노산)으로 구성되어 있습니다. 2D11-H5는 ELISA 및 인간 췌장 조직에서 검증된 insulin 특이 항체입니다.
Target Information
Insulin은 췌장 베타세포에서 분비되는 펩타이드 호르몬으로, 탄수화물·단백질·지질 대사를 조절합니다. 포도당, 아미노산 및 특정 이온의 세포막 수송을 촉진하며, 글리코겐 저장, 트리글리세리드 형성, 단백질 및 핵산 합성을 촉진합니다.
Insulin은 51개의 아미노산으로 구성된 폴리펩타이드로, 전구체인 proinsulin이 번역 후 절단되어 A-chain과 B-chain으로 나뉘며, 두 개의 이황화 결합과 한 개의 C-peptide로 연결됩니다.
Insulin 결핍은 당뇨병을 유발하며, 이는 주요 사망 원인 중 하나입니다. 또한 insulin은 insulinoma와 같은 β세포 기원의 종양에서도 발견됩니다.
