- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse MUCDHL is observed.

Target Information
This gene is a novel mucin-like gene that belongs to the cadherin superfamily. It encodes nonpolymorphic tandem repeats rich in proline, serine, and threonine similar to mucin proteins, and includes calcium-binding motifs characteristic of cadherins. The specific function of this hybrid extracellular region is not yet determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
