- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information
CCL5 (RANTES) is a chemokine gene located on chromosome 17q. Chemokines regulate immune and inflammatory responses and are categorized into four subfamilies based on cysteine arrangement.
CCL5 acts as a chemoattractant for monocytes, memory T helper cells, and eosinophils, induces histamine release from basophils, and activates eosinophils.
It is a major HIV-suppressive factor produced by CD8+ cells, functioning as a natural ligand for CCR5 and suppressing replication of HIV-1 R5 strains.
Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms. Associated diseases include HIV Type 1 and Periapical Granuloma.
