Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse JAM-A, JAM-B, and JAM-C is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
IGSF5, together with MAGI1, forms an adhesion machinery at tight junctions that may regulate permeability in kidney glomerulus and small intestinal epithelial cells. It mediates calcium-independent homophilic cell adhesion. In testis, IGSF5 may function as a cell adhesion molecule rather than a tight-junction protein, participating in adhesion between spermatogonia-spermatogonia, spermatogonia-Sertoli cells, and Sertoli cells-Sertoli cells.
