세포 내 위치 (Cellular Localization)
- Isoform 1: Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Basolateral cell membrane; Cell junction (tight junction, adherens junction). In epithelial cells, localizes to apical junction complex (PubMed:12297051). In airway epithelial cells, localized to basolateral membrane but not to apical surface (PubMed:11316797).

배경 (Background)
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 Group B Coxsackievirus 및 Subgroup C Adenovirus의 Type I 막 수용체입니다. 여러 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 염색체 15, 18, 21에 유사유전자가 존재합니다. (RefSeq, May 2011)
