Background
ATF5는 cAMP 반응 요소(CRE)에 결합하는 전사 활성화 인자로, 신경전구세포의 신경세포로의 분화를 억제합니다. CCND3에 의해 전사 활성화가 증가하며 CDK4에 의해 약하게 억제됩니다. bZIP 패밀리에 속하며, 1개의 bZIP 도메인을 포함합니다. DNA에 이합체 형태로 결합하며 PTP4A1/PRL-1 및 CCND3와 상호작용합니다(유사성 기반).
