Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The AK4 gene encodes a member of the adenylate kinase enzyme family, localized in the mitochondrial matrix.
Adenylate kinases regulate adenine and guanine nucleotide composition by catalyzing reversible phosphate transfer among nucleotides.
Five isozymes are identified in vertebrates, with tissue-specific and developmentally regulated expression.
A pseudogene is located on chromosome 17, and three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified (NM_013410, NM_203464, NM_001005353), located on chromosome 1.
