NUDT21은 RNA 절단 및 polyadenylation 처리에 필요한 cleavage factor의 한 서브유닛입니다. 이 단백질은 RNA와의 상호작용을 통해 3' 말단 처리 복합체의 조기 조립을 유도하며, 다른 처리 인자의 결합을 촉진합니다. NUDT21 유전자는 25kDa 크기의 단백질을 암호화하며, 네 개의 폴리펩타이드로 구성된 복합체의 일부입니다.
