Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Sheep, Dog, and Mouse.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

BRAF is involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. It is activated by somatic point mutations in human cancer and plays a role in postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neurons.

This protein regulates the MAP kinase/ERK signaling pathway, affecting cell division, differentiation, and secretion. Mutations in B-Raf are associated with various cancers, including:

  • Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
  • Colorectal cancer
  • Malignant melanoma
  • Thyroid carcinoma
  • Non-small cell lung carcinoma
  • Lung adenocarcinoma

A pseudogene located on chromosome X has been identified for B-Raf.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
