Target Information
PAK 단백질은 Rho GTPase를 세포골격 재조직화 및 핵 신호전달과 연결하는 중요한 효소입니다. Serine/threonine p21-activating kinase 계열에 속하며, Cdc42 및 RAC 단백질과 결합하여 다양한 생물학적 활동에 관여합니다. 활성화된 Rac1 및 Cdc42와 결합 시 내재적 GTPase 활성을 억제하고 자가 인산화를 유도합니다. γPAK에는 Ser19, Ser141, Thr402를 포함한 8개의 자가 인산화 부위가 있으며, Ser141과 Thr402의 인산화는 γPAK 활성화와 관련됩니다. 인산화 후 Rac/Cdc42에 대한 친화도가 감소하면 PAK는 복합체에서 분리되어 하위 기질로 작용합니다.
