Target Information
CHEK2 (CHK2) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in the DNA damage checkpoint pathway. Mutations in CHK2 are associated with various cancers, including Li-Fraumeni syndrome, sarcomas, breast cancer, and brain tumors. CHK2 phosphorylates key cell cycle regulators such as tumor suppressor proteins and BRCA1, contributing to DNA damage response and repair mechanisms.
