Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human SOX1, SOX2, SOX3, SOX9, SOX10, and SOX17 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and cell fate determination. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator through complex formation with other proteins and may play a role in tumorigenesis. A similar protein in mice is involved in regulation of the Wnt pathway.
