For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10^6 cells in 100 µL.
Mouse anti-Rat OX-62 antibody, clone OX-62 recognizes the OX-62 antigen (rat alpha E2 integrin), an approximately 130 kDa single-pass type I transmembrane protein expressed by intestinal dendritic cells, dendritic epidermal T cells, intraepithelial lymphocytes in the small intestine, and dendritic morphology cells in lymphoid organs at sites where gamma delta T cells are present.

Target Information

CD103 (ITGAE, Integrin alpha E) is expressed on mucosa-associated T lymphocytes, activated cells, and a subset of TGF beta-1 cells.
It includes a 150 kDa alpha chain and a 120 kDa beta chain. CD103 is expressed by 0.5–2% of resting lymphocytes in peripheral blood and lymphoid organs.
The CD103 antibody stains a few bone marrow cells and rarely peripheral blood lymphocytes.
CD103 belongs to the integrin family, composed of heterodimeric alpha and beta chains. ITGAE encodes an I-domain-containing alpha integrin that undergoes post-translational cleavage in the extracellular domain, yielding disulfide-linked heavy and light chains.
In combination with the beta 7 integrin, CD103 forms the E-cadherin binding integrin known as the human mucosal lymphocyte-1 antigen.
CD103 is preferentially expressed in human intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) and may serve as an accessory molecule for IEL activation.
Diseases associated with CD103 dysfunction include hairy cell leukemia and splenic marginal zone lymphoma.
