Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FOXO1 (FKHR, Forkhead Box O1) is a transcription factor belonging to the forkhead homeotic gene family. It can function as a coactivator or corepressor of nuclear receptor activity through the LXXLL motif in its C-terminal region.
FOXO1 interacts with PAX3 and is implicated in alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. It plays roles in autophagy, myogenic differentiation, and tumor suppression.
As a key target of insulin signaling, FOXO1 regulates metabolic homeostasis and oxidative stress responses. It binds to insulin response elements (IRE) and Daf-16 family binding elements (DBE) to control gene expression.
FOXO1 influences redox balance, osteoblast differentiation, bone mass regulation, and glucose metabolism. In hepatocytes, it promotes gluconeogenesis by activating genes such as IGFBP1, G6PC, and PPCK1.
It acts downstream of CDK1, PKB/AKT1, and SKT4/MST1 to regulate cell death.
