Target Information
SMAD2 (MADH2, MAD2)는 세포 증식, 세포사 및 분화 등 다양한 세포 과정 조절에 관여합니다. SMAD2는 TGF-β 수용체와 상호작용하여 핵으로 이동하며, 이는 TGF-β 신호전달의 핵심 단계입니다. ERK1에 의한 Thr8의 인산화는 SMAD2의 전사 활성화를 증가시키며, 칼모듈린에 의해 음성 조절됩니다. TGF-β 신호에 반응하여 SMAD2는 수용체에 의해 인산화되고 SARA로부터 분리되어 SMAD4와 결합합니다. SMAD4와의 결합은 핵 내 이동 및 전사 억제 복합체 형성에 필수적입니다. 또한 SMAD2는 activin type 1 receptor kinase에 의해 인산화되어 activin 신호를 매개할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체 변이도 보고되었습니다.
