This antibody is predicted to react with mouse, rat, non-human primate, and rabbit based on sequence homology.
Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

MMP10 belongs to the matrix metalloproteinase family and is secreted in its pro form, further modified by extracellular proteinases.
As a metalloproteinase, MMP10 requires zinc and calcium as cofactors for activity. It is involved in activation of pro-collagenase, catabolism of collagen, degradation of fibronectin, and tissue remodeling.
In humans, the MMP10 gene is located on chromosome 11.
