Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

KCNE3 is an ancillary protein that assembles as a beta subunit with voltage-gated potassium channel complexes of pore-forming alpha subunits.
It modulates gating kinetics and enhances channel stability.
Associated with KCNC4/Kv3.4, it may form the subthreshold voltage-gated potassium channel in skeletal muscle and help establish the resting membrane potential (RMP) in muscle cells.
Associated with KCNQ1/KCLQT1, it may form the intestinal cAMP-stimulated potassium channel involved in chloride secretion.
