Fast and Accurate Solid-Liquid Extraction

The SER 158 Series automatic solvent extractors (3 and 6 positions) provide accurate and precise determination of extractable matter according to the Randall method, performing up to 5 times faster than traditional Soxhlet extraction.

The solid-liquid extraction process removes soluble components from solids using a liquid solvent in 5 automated steps. The SER 158 complies with AOAC, ISO, EPA, APHA, and UNI standards.

Safe and powerful heating combined with advanced software and security features ensure reproducible extraction results. Fully automated operation maximizes productivity and minimizes operator time — just Load & Go!


Unparalleled Versatility and Scalability

The SER 158 Series accommodates all sample types and sizes with a wide range of accessories and consumables:

  • Butyl, Viton, and exclusive Vaflon seals compatible with most solvents
  • Three cup sizes and thimble options to minimize solvent consumption
  • Cellulose and glass fiber thimbles for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Compatibility with HU6 glass crucible prevents sample loss

Up to four units can be combined for multiple independent and simultaneous applications.

The exclusive 7" ControlPad™ features an intuitive interface for easy setup and operation.

Designed for unattended 24/7 operation with Load&Go technology, the removable ControlPad™ connects to a balance and barcode reader for full automation and traceability.
Pre-installed and customizable methods allow fast start-up, while real-time visualization of each extraction step provides full control.

Results are automatically calculated and stored in onboard memory. Connectivity includes three USB ports and Ethernet for data transfer.

The SER 158 uses SolventXpress™ technology for smart solvent dispensing, minimizing operator exposure and ensuring safety.

Condensed solvent is collected in a cooled recovery tank, and solvent output is fully automated with a single click.
Hermetic sealing and transparent protective covers prevent spills and exposure to hot solvents.
Advanced sensors monitor each step, ensuring safe operation.
SafeEnd™ technology automatically raises cups to prevent burning of extracted matter.
