Product Specific Information
The ISA-3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human ICOS (Inducible COStimulatory molecule), also known as H4, CRP-1, and AILIM.
ICOS is a T-cell-specific activation molecule and a member of the CD28/CTLA-4 family. It plays a critical role in T-cell activation and humoral immune responses, particularly in memory B cell and plasma cell generation.
- ICOS binds to its ligand B7h/B7RP-1 expressed on activated APCs and inflamed tissues.
- Plate-bound ISA-3 induces IL-4, IL-5, IL-10 production but not IL-2.
- ISA-3 was generated against human ICOS antigen.
- Clone C398.4A (anti-mouse ICOS/H4) cross-reacts with human ICOS but binds a different epitope.
- For brightest staining of activated human T cells, use Product #13-9948-82 or #12-9948-42.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg)/test.
Laser Excitation: Red laser (633 nm)
Emission: 780 nm
Light Sensitivity: Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
