Target Information
FOLR2는 folate receptor (FOLR) 패밀리에 속하며, 이 유전자들은 염색체 11번에 군집 형태로 존재합니다.
이 패밀리의 구성원들은 엽산 및 여러 환원형 엽산 유도체에 대해 높은 친화도를 가지며, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate를 세포 내부로 전달하는 역할을 합니다.
FOLR2 단백질은 FOLR1 및 FOLR3 단백질과 각각 68%, 79%의 서열 상동성을 가지며, 원래는 태반 특이적으로 알려졌으나 다른 조직에서도 발현될 수 있습니다.
