Target Information
VRK2(Serine/threonine kinase, vaccinia related kinase 2)는 VRK 계열의 단백질 인산화효소로, 인간 조직 전반에 발현되며 특히 세포 분열이 활발한 고환, 백혈구, 태아 간 및 암세포에서 높은 발현을 보입니다.
VRK2는 casein을 인산화할 수 있으며, 자가 인산화 기능을 가지고 있습니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr virus의 BHRF1 단백질(Bcl-2 유사체)과 상호작용하여 세포의 apoptosis 억제에 관여합니다.
