Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
VRK2 (Vaccinia Related Kinase 2) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the VRK family. It is widely expressed in human tissues and is highly expressed in actively dividing cells such as those in testis, leukocytes, fetal liver, and carcinomas.
VRK2 can phosphorylate casein and undergo autophosphorylation. It interacts specifically with the Epstein-Barr virus BHRF1, a Bcl-2 homologue, contributing to protection against apoptosis.
