PLEKHM1은 Pleckstrin homolog domain을 포함하는 M family 단백질의 구성원으로, RUN domain, 두 개의 PH domain 및 cysteine-rich domain을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 인간의 골경화증(osteopetrosis) 원인으로 확인되었으며, Rab7과 함께 후기 엔도좀/리소좀 소포에서 공위치(co-localization)합니다.
