UBAC1는 ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) 하위군에 속합니다.
hnRNP는 RNA 결합 단백질로, heterogeneous nuclear RNA(hnRNA)와 복합체를 형성합니다.
이들은 pre-mRNA 처리 및 mRNA 대사, 수송에 관여하며, 일부 hnRNP는 핵과 세포질 사이를 이동합니다.
UBAC1 단백질은 RNA 결합에 관여하는 두 개의 RRM 도메인을 가지고 있습니다.
