Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Helix-loop-helix (HLH) structures are common motifs in membrane-active and DNA-binding proteins. HEN1 and HEN2 are DNA-binding proteins potentially involved in cell-type determination during early nervous system development. Expression studies show NSCL-1 and NSCL-2 (genes encoding HEN1 and HEN2) are expressed in developing neurons of the central and peripheral nervous system.
