In western blot, MA1-185 detects NME2 (human) at the expected approximate molecular weight of 17 kDa.
The immunogen is full-length NME2 expressed in E. coli.
Target Information
Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B is an enzyme encoded by the NME2 gene in humans.
This enzyme forms a hexamer composed of isoforms A (NME1) and B (NME2).
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified.
Co-transcription of NME1 and NME2 generates naturally occurring fusion transcripts encoding a protein sharing identity with both gene products.
